The Role
 
We are looking for a charming & self-motivated team player to join our small but mighty business. Your main responsibilities will be to assist the sales team in managing existing accounts and seek out new business opportunities.  You will support the sales team in executing an existing sales strategy across all of our retail accounts to include analysis & promotional plans. You will be expected to develop relationships with store managers, buyers and distributers of key existing accounts and identify and build relationships with new accounts. You will be hungry to identify and exploit new sales opportunities in order to progress in a growing business. Other responsibilities include (but not limited to #startuplife) supporting the rest of the business when required - for example at in-store tasting, events and trade shows.
 
Experience & Skills
 
First & foremost
  • Strong work ethic with a high attention to detail and ability to provide a polished presentation
  • Must relish a challenge and be enthused to build long terms relationships
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
  • Appetite to deliver strong sales results (#dingding)
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Love of FOOD!
 
Essential Skills
  • A proven track record of managing sales accounts
  • A track record of developing strategies for individual accounts that have resulted in increased revenue streams
  • Strong numeracy & analytical skills with an eye for detail
  • Be able to initiate key timing schedules to deliver on sales targets.
Desirable Skills
  • Commercial experience within the food sector
  • Experience working with wholesalers
 
Location: London
 
Salary: 23K-26K (depending on experience)

Hours: Full time, 9am-5.30pm. Some evenings & weekend days may be required.
 
Clean driving license preferable.
